1. Sieve
flour, salt and ginger together
2. Warm syrup, margarine,
and sugar together and add to the flour etc. MIX WELL
3. Add milk and
mix to a firm consistency
4. Roll out and
cut out shapes and place on a greased baking tray
5. Mark the eyes
and buttons with currants and use liquorice for the mouth
6. Bake for 10/15
minutes @ 160 degrees celcius/325 degrees farenheit or gas mark 3
7. Ease from baking
trays when the mixture is cool
The biscuits will
be soft after baking but will crisp on cooling |
